Cozy Fall Bedroom Tour

Well, it’s October and that means the pumpkins are now officially out. I usually keep things simple around here when it comes to fall decor but I generally sprinkle those little white painted pumpkins everywhere. This year though, I decided to keep things even more simple and only sprinkle them in half of the places. Partly because I am craving the simplicity and partly because I already have Christmas decor on my mind. I know, I know…one season at a time, right?

Still those simple touches of pumpkins, candles, and cozy layers are making these cooler, darker days at home so much better. Not much says fall to me more than curling up with a good book, a cozy blanket, and a cup of tea.

The cooler temperatures definitely have me reaching for the extra layers and this throw blanket is one of my absolute favorites. The Sadie Tassel Knitted Blanket by Homeplistic is the perfect weight, softness, and after having mine for over a year I still have no dreaded “pilling” or shedding. I love this one so much that I include it in nearly every client project I work on. You can save 15% on one of your own by using discount code ALTEREDABODE15.

While, I am all about candles year-round; we are officially in actual candle season. There is just something about the glow from a candle on those darker, cooler evenings. Or maybe it’s all of those yummy fall scents. Either way, candles are burning constantly over here these days.

I was recently introduced to Wild Mountain Wax Co. and am obsessed. As much as I love candles, I am very careful about what I bring into my home. These non-toxic candles not only smell amazing, but I feel good burning them. You can save 10% on the candles of your choice using discount code ABODE10.
