It’s been a while since I’ve shared a shop the look post and thought it was about time. If you took my What’s Your Design Style quiz you may already know your unique design style but I think this design has something for everyone. And if you haven’t, what are you waiting for? Take the quiz, find your style, and come on back to this post!
This living room design has the elements of modern farmhouse, warm & rustic, a bit of a boho vibe, plus the cozy layers of texture found in Scandinavian design. The best part is I have made this design fully shoppable. That means you could literally click through the links below to order all of the items you need to transform your living room into a cozy, modern boho space today!

How to create a cozy, modern boho living room
Think texture! Texture is usually my top tip for most spaces but especially when you want to create a comfortable, cozy space. So bring in those layers - throw blankets, pillows, wicker - the more texture the better!
Keep furniture neutral and a bit timeless. By keeping the large items in the room on the classic side it gives you more room to play with decor without the risk of leaning too far into any particular style. Plus, these are the pieces you are likely investing in so I almost always suggest keeping these neutral. This way, if (or when) you need an update you can easily switch out just a few things without breaking the bank!
Add some fun pattern. While I’m all about pattern here, in this type of space I do like to keep things neutral. The more color and pattern, the more of a boho vibe it will likely have.
Add plenty of plants (obviously)! Again, I’ll suggest this for most spaces but bringing in a few plants just breathes life into the space. Even better, add a pothos or two to create more of that boho feel.
